Hakata-mae Sushi and Kappo Cuisine “Sushi Kijima”, located in Akasaka, Fukuoka, Japan.
We serve seasonal seafood from the Genkai Sea in our distinctive Hakata-mae sushi style. The restaurant’s interior, rich with wooden warmth, was designed by the renowned Hakata “4th-generation Yasutsune-gumi”. The ceramics and wall panels are exclusively crafted by the 7th-generation Yazaemon from ARITA PORCELAIN LAB. Please enjoy the delightful atmosphere of Sushi Kijima, made special by the support of numerous individuals.
Though still young and inexperienced, I humbly look forward to your visit. • Eitaro Kijima

Thank you, Sushi Master Takuo Yamanaka.
I knew nothing about sushi when I first entered the world of culinary arts, but by fate, I became an apprentice at Yamanaka. Deeply inspired by Master Yamanaka, my lifelong dream became to succeed as a sushi chef.
Master Yamanaka treated me like family, offering generous guidance and support. I have honed my skills under his tutelage. My goal is to create a warm, welcoming restaurant where customers smile and conversations flow. Chef Takuo Yamanaka, thank you from the bottom of my heart for the 20 wonderful years.
